Well it has been a week, the christening went great even though the rain came and went all day. We opted to come the numbers small and have the after christening party at home. We used a local caterer( I can provide the phone number), and the food was excellent. We had barbeque and paella and it was gorgeous!
Teo was christened at the La Merced catholic church in a lovely and thankfully short ceremony. He now has a godmother, Karen and two godfathers, Kerry and Kev. The 3 k's
Although we were home by 1 o'clock the party wen ton till about 10 that night, this is why we wanted to have it at home. We know our friends can party!
It was nice we had so many friends there as well as some family from England and I have to say the church is really nice even if it was quite warm. A big thankyou goes to the priest who kept the proceedings moving along even though most peoples' spanish wasn't quite up to the job.
On a different note it has been nice for me to get back to work after the break in August and the time off due to other things, not least the amount of rain we have had here in the last 2-3 weeks. It seems it has rained as much as in 07 when we had the terrible floods. Hopefully that is it now, although there are rumours of a wet winter coming our way. Victoria and I thought it was cold last winter but I am not sure if we are just getting used to the heat of the summers.
